In general,
statutory regulations regarding warranty apply to GHOST bicycles as well as any agreements made with the respective dealer.
Note: Statutory regulations vary from country to country!
All warranty claims should be addressed to the dealer who sold the GHOST bicycle. Should a defect or damage of the GHOST bike to which the warranty extends occur within the warranty period, please contact the respective dealer.
Depending on the frame type, GHOST extends a guarantee on frames for a total of 2.5 years, 3 years or 5 years in addition to, and independent from, the statutory regulations as long as you as the end customer have filled out the guarantee card which is found in the owner`s manual and sent it in to GHOST. Alternatively, an Online-Registration can be made. The guarantee period starts with the retail purchase of the new bicycle by you as the end customer at an authorized dealer. In case the guarantee card, which can be found in the ownerbs manual, was not sent in to GHOST or if the bike was not registered online the guarantee will be invalid. Your legal rights to claims under warranty remain unaffected.
guarantee time for frames:
1. A guarantee of 2.5 years applies to frames made out of composite material (Carbon) as well as Actinum and Scandium
2. A guarantee of 3 years applies to all fully frames which do not belong to the categories mentioned in 1.
3. A guarantee of 5 years applies to all hardtail frames which do not belong to the categories mentioned in 1.
The guarantee applies to the frame only and does not apply to paint and decor.
Warranty claims shall be void if:
Should a claim arise within the above mentioned guarantee periods, but outside of the legal warranty period, only the defective frame will either be repaired or replaced. Within the above mentioned guarantee period, we will not reimburse costs due to necessary modifications, shipping, and / or exchange of the frame.Within this time period, disassembled frames should be shipped to us at your expense. If the specific frame type is no longer available, GHOST reserves the right to supply a replacement frame of equal or superior quality, but which might differ in form and color from the original one. There is no entitlement to replacement of a product of the same type. Your legal rights to warranty claims remain unaffected.
