For the first time, Ghost Bikes is represented at Rampage by Kirsten van Horne. Known for her fearless riding and progressive style, Kirsten is stepping into one of the toughest arenas in mountain biking.

As is tradition for Rampage, Kirsten also gets her own customized POACHA — inspired by her car “Blueberry,” in a shimmering blue finish.

2024: a milestone in female freeride
Women have long been underrepresented in freeride mountain biking. Events like Rampage have historically been dominated by men – but change is happening. With the debut in 2024 and it’s coming back in 2025 with a contest on the 16th October female athletes like Kirsten Van Horne, Casey Brown and Robin Goomes are dropping in and barriers are breaking down.

No – Rampage is invite-only. The world’s best freeride athletes are selected based on their skills, past performances, and ability to push the sport forward.
