Especially in summer, the Kitzbüheler Alps provide a comprehensive range of leisure activities for your vacation in the Alps: choose from mountain biking, tour cycling, road biking and many other activities and enjoy action packed holidays. 

 

For cyclists, there are over 1000 km of road bike and mountain bike routes available in addition to legendary trails of various levels of difficulty. Kick start your day with sports and activities, surrounded by a unique backdrop of impressive mountains, wide valleys and refreshing lakes during summer in the Kitzbüheler Alps. 

Alpine hotel Landhaus Küchl

Our partner from the very beginning: The family-operated Alpine Hotel Landhaus Küchl offers accommodation for 49 guests and is located in the heart of the Kitzbüheler Alps, on the sunny plateau of Kirchberg. It is the perfect starting point for numerous mountain bike tours, hikes and strolls. We are about a 15-minute walk from the center of town in Kirchberg and about 5 km away from Kitzbühel. It takes about 5 minutes to get to the Fleckalmbahn gondola, which takes you up to the starting point of numerous mountain bike trails in a matter of minutes.

Lisi Osl Trail

The approximately 2,620 meter long Lisi-Osl-Trail in the middle of the Kitzbüheler Alps provides challenging opportunities for beginners and proficient riders as well. The trail with a 450m vertical requires your full concentration for its switchbacks, root-packed sections and man-made obstacles. Enjoy the signature trail of the GHOST Factory Racing Team rider and 2009 Overall World Cup winner!

APPROVED MOUNTAINBIKE HOLIDAYS AREA

We are not the only ones who like the Kitzbüheler Alps! In 2015, our partner area was awarded with the coveted “Approved Bike Area“ seal of distinction. There are not many areas which can count themselves among these bike regions which have been tested and assessed for quality and been approved. We are proud to be one them. The entire area, its infrastructure, hotels, specialized bike shops and bike schools have to meet stringent standards in order to be awarded with the title “Approved Bike Area”.
