Nuestras bicicletas están provistas de pegatinas de clasificación. En ellas se indica el área de aplicación y se proporciona información sobre características como la altura máxima de caída o el peso total máximo, etc.

CATEGORIA 0

  • Category 0 cycles are generally 12“ balance bikes and 12“ or 16“ children’s bikes.

  • For children aged 3 years and up

  • Only for use under the supervision of a parent or guardian

  • Not permitted on the road

  • Not permitted in competitions

  • Not suitable for jumps or acrobatics

  • Maximum permissible weight = weight of bike including rider with full clothing and luggage: POWERKID 16/POWERKID 12/POWERKIDDY 12: max. 36 kg"

Category 1

  • Category 1 cycles are generally bikes, pedelecs and S-pedelecs in the style of racing bikes or fitness bikes (urban bikes).

  • Solely for asphalt, concrete or paved roads and paths

  • Wheels must be kept in permanent contact with the ground

  • Permitted in competitions

  • Not suitable for drops, jumps or acrobatics

Category 2

  • Category 2 cycles are generally bikes, pedelecs and S-pedelecs in the style of city, trekking, cross-trekking or cargo bikes, as well as 20“ children’s bikes and 24“ junior bikes.

  • Includes category 1, plus surfaced and naturally firm paths with moderate inclines

  • Can be ridden down steps of up to 15 cm / 5.9“, e.g. kerbs

  • Not permitted in competitions

  • Not suitable for jumps or acrobatics

  • Maximum permissible weight = weight of bike including rider with full clothing and luggage: KATO Kid 2.0 / R1.0/ KATO Kid D4.4 /2.4/Lanao Kid 2.0 / R1.0/ Lanao Kid D4.4 / 2.4: max. 60 kg

  • Maximum permissible weight = weight of bike including rider with full clothing and luggage: ROAD RAGE/ E-SQUARE (Travel / Cross / Trekking): max. 120 kg

  • Maximum permissible weight = weight of bike including rider with full clothing and luggage: SQUARE (Urban/ Cross/ Trekking): max. 140 kg"

Category 3

  • Category 3 cycles are generally bikes, pedelecs and S-pedelecs in the style of mountain bikes designed for cross-country, marathon and touring use, plus bikes in the cyclo-cross, gravel and all-track segments.

  • Includes categories 1 and 2, plus rough trails with small obstacles, and unsurfaced routes that require good riding technique

  • Permitted in competitions

  • Drops and jumps permitted up to a max. height of 60 cm / 23.6“ (with appropriate riding technique)

  • Not suitable for acrobatics

  • Maximum permissible weight = weight of bike including rider with full clothing and luggage: LECTOR WC 9 UC: max. 103,7 kg

  • Maximum permissible weight = weight of bike including rider with full clothing and luggage: LECTOR / LECTOR SuperFit / LECTOR FS/ KATO FS / KATO / LANAO / NIRVANA TOUR/ Hybride HTX: max. 120 kg

  • max. permissible total weight = weight of the bike incl. rider with complete clothing and luggage: ROAD RAGE: max. 120 kg

  • Maximum permissible weight = weight of bike including rider with full clothing and luggage: E-TERU (MY21): max. 120 kg"

Category 4

  • Category 4 cycles are generally bikes, pedelecs and S-pedelecs in the style of mountain bikes designed for all-mountain use.

  • Includes categories 1, 2 and 3

  • Larger obstacles and higher speeds require increased riding skills

  • Permitted in competitions

  • Drops and jumps permitted up to a max. height 120 cm / 47.2“ (with appropriate riding technique)

  • Not suitable for acrobatics

  • Maximum permissible weight = weight of bike including rider with full clothing and luggage: SL AMR Base / Hybride ASX 160 & 130/ RIOT EN, AM, Trail/ E-RIOT: max. 120 kg

  • Maximum permissible weight = weight of bike including rider with full clothing and luggage: Hybride SLAMR/ Hybride SLAMR X AL/LC: max. 140 kg "

Category 5

  • Category 5 cycles are generally bikes, pedelecs and S-pedelecs in the style of mountain bikes designed for enduro/freeride/downhill use.

  • Includes categories 1, 2, 3 and 4, plus very fast and very demanding terrain with extreme inclines

  • Very high demands on riding skill

  • Permitted in competitions

  • Long drops and jumps permitted (with appropriate riding technique)

  • Not suitable for acrobatics"
