GHOST Factory Racing Team - Season Kickoff 2024

In February, the Ghost Factory Racing Team was in Spain to make the final preparations for the new season. As part of the training camp, the new kit for the season was also launched in collaboration with the long-time sponsor Maloja.

New Kit Day

For many years, Maloja has been the apparel sponsor of the Ghost Factory Racing Team. The racing kit for 2024 is something special as it embodies the diversity of our athletes. With an average age of 25 and 5 different nationalities, it is one of the most versatile teams on the roster. The jersey aims to represent the personalities of the athletes through small icons. The home countries, tattoos, and hobbies inspired the respective icons. Can you match the icon to the fitting athlete?

Shimano Super Cup

To be optimally prepared for the upcoming races, the athletes participated in the Shimano Super Cup in La Nucía, Spain. The results of the Super Cup are impressive, as the GFRT dominated the podium with Nicole in 2nd place, Anne in 4th place, and Caro in 5th place. Isla finished 8th, while Finja couldn't start due to her crash in training. Congrats to this amazing "warm-up" for the upcoming season!

Cyprus Sunshine Cup

Anne Terpstra competed in the Sunshine Cup in Cyprus at the end of February and won all three races. She also won the overall classification and can be very satisfied with her great performance!

Fullgaz Race Obergessertshausen

On March 9th and 10th, the Fullgaz Race took place in Obergessertshausen. Isla finished 8th in the XCC, while Finja completed the XCO U23 in 2nd place. Unfortunately, Caro could not start due to health reasons – we wish her a speedy recovery!

What's next?

In early March, Anne and Nici headed to South Africa to prepare for the Absa Cape Epic. The 8-stage race takes place from March 17th to 24th in the Western Cape, South Africa.
