PARTICIPATION TERMS AND CONDITIONS:
Participation in the contest requires agreement to the following terms and conditions.
PARTICIPATION To participate in the contest, participants must:
Actively sign up for the GHOST newsletter,
Agree that GHOST-Bikes GmbH may irrevocably use images and recordings taken during the 'Content Day' for advertising and marketing purposes on its own channels.
The contest begins with the publication of the series of posts within the framework of the contest on 29.05.2024 at 12:00 (CET) and ends on 03.07.2024 at 00:00 (CET).
Participation is free of charge and not associated with the purchase of products. Eligible to participate are all individuals who are 18 years or older and reside in Germany, Austria, or Switzerland. Employees of the Accell Group and their immediate family members are not eligible to participate.
PRIZE AND DRAW The prizes for the contest are provided by GHOST-Bikes GmbH.
Prize: Content day with a photo shoot and bike testing with our athlete Andi Brewi. Location and date will be coordinated with the winner.
Prize draw:
The winners will be randomly selected from all participants who have newly signed up for the GHOST newsletter and will be contacted by us via email. The selected winners have 5 days to respond to the email and confirm whether they accept the prize. If they do not respond within these 5 days, they forfeit the opportunity to claim their prize. Another winner will then be drawn. The winners will be announced via email to the provided email address.

Newsletter subscription (mandatory) exclusively for the purpose of managing the contest and subsequently sending the GHOST newsletter. Data will not be shared with third parties – except for the associated data processors as per Art. 28 GDPR or the operator of this network (Facebook/META) – and within the Accell Group. Your data will be automatically and irrevocably deleted after the purpose has expired and any retention periods have lapsed. Please note that Facebook (META) and possibly other service providers are based outside the European Economic Area (USA). WE POINT OUT THAT THE USA IS NOT A SAFE THIRD COUNTRY IN TERMS OF EU DATA PROTECTION LAW. We have no influence on this data processing. Additionally, Facebook (META) Promotion Guidelines apply.
The winner expressly agrees that the organizer may use image material related to the prize and its execution for media purposes within its web presences and social media channels. An objection under Art. 21 GDPR or further assertion of data subject rights can be directed at any time to the Data Protection Officer (Dipl.-Ing. Lars Ebertz, lars@ebertz-datenschutz.de) of GHOST-Bikes GmbH.

PREMATURE TERMINATION The organizers reserve the right to terminate or modify the contest at any time without prior notice if proper execution cannot be guaranteed for technical (e.g., hardware and software errors, computer viruses, or manipulation) or legal reasons.

FACEBOOK (META)/INSTAGRAM DISCLAIMER The contest is in no way connected to Facebook and is not sponsored, supported, or organized by Facebook. Contact and responsible party are solely the organizers as listed in point 5.
SEVERABILITY CLAUSE If any provision of these terms and conditions is or becomes invalid, the validity of the remaining provisions shall not be affected. Instead of the invalid provision, the legally permissible regulation that comes closest to the economic sense and purpose of the invalid provision shall apply.
